Intimate Elegance at Asylum Chapel, London
This beautifully intimate wedding in the heart of London during late Spring truly warmed my heart and Jess and Anthony were the perfect couple, doing things their way, blending some wedding traditions with some truly unique touches that made this day one that I will remember for a long time. Asylum Chapel in Peckham provided such a perfect, rustic backdrop for the ceremony, with the late May sunlight streaming through the windows, providing pools of light which as a photographer, makes me extremely happy on a wedding day!
After the formalities were done and they were husband and wife, they led their gathered guests in a group singalong which was a first for me and now when I hear Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, I am transported back to this moment, camera(s) in hand.
The guests clambered aboard a London Bus to be whisked away across the capital to the wonderful rustic warmth of Never For Ever, a light filled blend of restaurant, lounge and pub where they read heartfelt speeches, dined and hosted a pub quiz before heading down to the basement to dance the evening away. My only regret was not grabbing a piece of the cake before I left!
