When L.A. came to the U.K.
What a pleasure and privilege it was to be hired to capture this private birthday event in such an exclusive location. Flying from L.A. and bringing with them 20 trunks of bespoke dresses through customs at Heathrow well as choosing this wonderful private hire venue to mark this wonderful 30th celebration, the pressure was on for the Great British weather to co-operate and thankfully for everyone involved, it did just that and provided us with warmth and beautiful sunshine all day, giving echoes of Slim Aarons and turning this private venue into our very own slice of L.A. but with an English country house backdrop.
From the morning activities through to the black tie evening, there was so much fun, love and warmth that it made it a pleasure to capture on both digital and 35mm film.
